RETURNS, REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS

Modern & Luxury Furniture LTD, trading as Stylish Furniture Ipswich, provides no voluntary change-of-mind return period beyond the rights required by law.

Non-faulty showroom purchases cannot be cancelled, returned, refunded or exchanged because of a change of mind unless we agreed otherwise in writing before purchase.

The statutory change-of-mind cancellation right does not apply to goods genuinely made to the customer’s specifications or clearly personalised. Where this exception applies, we will identify it before the order is placed.

For eligible standard goods bought online or by telephone, the customer must notify us of cancellation within 14 days after delivery and return the goods within the following 14 days.

The customer is responsible for arranging and paying for a suitable professional furniture carrier. Because furniture cannot normally be returned by post, mainland UK return transport is estimated at a maximum of approximately £1,000, depending on distance, furniture size and weight, access and the number of items. We do not provide free collection for non-faulty change-of-mind returns.

We may deduct any reduction in value caused by handling, use, damage, assembly or disassembly beyond what would reasonably be permitted when inspecting furniture in a showroom. We do not impose a separate cancellation, administration or restocking fee.

Faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed goods are handled separately in accordance with statutory rights. Please report visible delivery damage or missing parts preferably within 48 hours; this request does not shorten statutory rights.
