RETURNS, REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

At Stylish Furniture, we specialise in large, premium furniture items, many of which are produced specifically for each customer. Because of the nature of these products, different terms apply compared to standard online retail.

How Our Orders Work

Most furniture sold by Stylish Furniture is manufactured or allocated specifically for your order once a purchase is confirmed.

This process ensures:

  • Correct finishes and configurations

  • Careful handling of large items

  • Professional delivery and in-home assembly

As a result, orders are treated as final once processing begins.


Order Cancellations

Orders may only be cancelled before production or allocation has started.

Once an order has entered production, preparation, or allocation:

  • The order cannot be cancelled

  • Changes are no longer possible

Customers are advised to confirm suitability, finishes, and requirements before placing an order.


Returns Policy

Due to the size, handling requirements, and made-to-order nature of our furniture:

  • Returns are not offered for furniture items once delivered and assembled

  • Items are supplied as part of a completed delivery and installation service

  • Furniture is considered accepted once assembled in the customer’s home

This approach reflects standard practice for made-to-order and professionally installed furniture.


In-Stock & Allocated Items

Some items may be held in limited stock or allocated from existing inventory.

Once an item has been:

  • Reserved

  • Allocated

  • Prepared for delivery

It is treated as a confirmed order and is not eligible for return.


Assembly & Acceptance

Our team delivers and assembles furniture in your home to ensure:

  • Correct installation

  • Safe handling

  • Immediate usability

Once assembly is completed, the item is deemed:

  • Delivered as ordered

  • Installed correctly

  • Accepted by the customer

For this reason, we are unable to accept returns after assembly.


Faults or Delivery Damage

If an item arrives with a manufacturing fault or delivery-related damage, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

In such cases, we will:

  • Inspect the issue

  • Arrange repair, replacement, or resolution where appropriate

  • Work directly with the manufacturer if required

This process is separate from returns and does not affect your statutory rights.

How Refunds Work

For this reason, refunds are not automatically available and depend on the circumstances of the order.


Made-to-Order & Allocated Furniture

Once an item has:

  • Entered production

  • Been allocated to an order

  • Been prepared for delivery

the order becomes final.

Refunds are not available for made-to-order or allocated furniture unless:

  • The item is faulty, or

  • The item was mis-described, or

  • The item was damaged during delivery

This reflects standard practice for custom and made-to-order furniture.


Assembly & Completion of Service

Our furniture is delivered and professionally assembled in the customer’s home.

Once assembly has been completed:

  • The delivery and installation service is considered fulfilled

  • The item is deemed accepted

As a result, refunds cannot be issued after assembly has taken place, except where a confirmed fault or delivery damage is present.


Faulty or Damaged Items

If your item arrives with a manufacturing fault or is damaged during delivery, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery, providing clear photographs where possible.

Where a fault is confirmed, we will offer an appropriate resolution, which may include:

  • Repair

  • Replacement of the affected part

  • Replacement of the item

  • A refund, where repair or replacement is not possible

The resolution offered will depend on the nature of the issue and manufacturer assessment.


Refund Method & Timing

Where a refund is approved:

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method

  • Processing times depend on the payment provider

  • Delivery and service charges are non-refundable

Please allow sufficient time for the refund to appear in your account once processed.


Non-Refundable Circumstances

Refunds cannot be issued for:

  • Change of mind

  • Items correctly delivered and assembled

  • Items damaged after delivery

  • Clearance or discounted items (where stated)

  • Orders cancelled after production or allocation has begun
